All very serious about state of transport haulage for drivers
Hourly rate if you are on it is very basic.
Day rate is not much better.
Long hours to make a half decent living.
Respect from places we go to, like no problem driver you are welcome to use our toilets.
The more i type the more it sounds like a vocation not a career
Most driver’s don’t work for own account so most have to pay for own private pension or private health cover and lots of other things that make good conditions, it’s sad that a lot of drivers see good conditions as having a decent truck and thats all they need
