Exchange Irish to UK Licence

Hi Guys,
Advice urgently needed!!!
I swapped my Uk bus licence in 2019 to a Irish one as I was living there.
I have offers from Bus companies wanting to give me a job here in the UK.
BUT unfortunately they cannot check my licence as its Irish one even though you can see the categories on the back of licence.
I passed my test in the UK and also have a CPC card that shows up online as its euro.
But at Gov.uk no luck for obvious reasons.
My question…as follows.
Is it a D2 form I need to fill out?
Do I have to have a new medical?
Do I have to be a permanent resident here for 185 days before I can even apply even though I am British?

As any one out there come across this issue?
thx Pat

Get form D1 and fill it in. Tick exchange then list of categories held.

Had simeral situation.Passed all in UK,3 years ago leave UK,exchange to some UK country licence.Last years back to UK,sent form, licence,New medical. After 2 week get back new licence but medical sent back as well(still was not expired old one).

Hey thx for replies.
I was led to a D2 form…and believing i don’t need a medical.
It said on form exchange is free.
The bad news is I’ve heard many people waiting a long time for there license back.
I’m forced to sign on after many years working.
No company can check my license details on Dvla.

I seriously think this is a massive flaw in Dvla system if you once passed your test here.
And then lived in another country
