Exceeding 10 hour drive

I’ve got a big day tomorrow and should make it in around 9.5 hours drive. I have drivers saying it’s ok to go 10 minutes over to return to Base but I argue that the 10th hour is already leeway. Who’s right.?

Legally ten hours is it. You won’t get raped for ten minutes one in a blue moon but you don’t want to make a habit of it.

Don’t forget tomorrow is Friday and it’s a Bank Holiday weekend, a 10 minute one off to find a safe place to park is ok but certainly not a habit you want to get into.

Should be 10-15 minutes quicker over the A66 now with the new limits. Airdrie to Warrington is about 4hrs so when you get to Airdrie you’ll have an idea whether you can do it or not. Friday shouldn’t be too bad on the M6 as you’ll be going the opposite way to all the holiday traffic.

Well A1 was closed this morning but I think this may still be doable. Having a break at Gretna services I’ve done 4 hours 5 minutes driving so far

Over is OVER and that’s your offence and using the BH weekend wont score any points in your favour as the answer would come back "you should of anticipated the delay and adjusted your day "
but there’s now’t to worry about now so have a good week end .

On your way home and running out of time drive in and then out of a services or two and then if you get hauled up at a later date you have shown on
your card or whatever you use that you have made an effort to find parking but due to the Bank hols chaos existed.And do add on your print out that parking was not available hence the over run…sorted just relax and vote for UKIP.Ah! just noted job done well you can use my little assist at a later date.
