I’m trying to find out where John Vernede is these days. I remember he used to work for GBE, out of Bournemouth, and I think he lived at Bridport.

Sorry to tell you Norman, John died about a month ago.

Thanks for that Kerbut, do you know any details i.e. where he was living, what he did after GBE ?

Unfortunatly I dont know any detail Norman ,but suspect it was heart trouble as John was no light weight !, I will ask Slope,s father if he has any futher details when I see him next weekend when we return to UK.

Cheers for that Kerbut, So sad to hear of his passing away, he was one of the good ones,as many of you GBE lads were.
