, what was the name of the subbie from Norfolk (Wyndonham?) that done traction for Ewals Cargo Care, about 6 trucks, white Volvos and an Iveco, blue writing. I think they jacked about 5 years ago, I used to know their drivers, Jimmy and Duncan, (are you on here?) can’t remember the other’s names.

It was DS Burton from Whissonsett Norfolk you’re thinking of!!.
Andrew Bierton had mainly Ivecos and a Daf’s and were silver and from Beccles (or Bungay) in Suffolk.
Jamie and Sean (sp Shaun?) were their 2 main drivers. Sean sadly died a few years ago.
They had a couple of ex race team low rides so they could pull the mega trailers abroad.
What happened to the girl who drove for them. her name escapes me kindle. i was on ewals at the same time with the old man 
Marie since come off the road, had a baby and living wi an owner driver. Other ex Burton drivers are still around. Jimmy drives for Roger Warnes, Robert drives for Jack Richards, Graham drives for city link, Sam for W’s transport, Chrunchie for Bartrums, Bob was last seen in a Brett’s trans motor, Karl is driving a cement mixer. Duncan? Ya got me on that one.

Was talking to a driver from that area the other day and I asked him about Burtons, seems that Duncan has come off the road, and him and his Mrs now run a foster home for kids with problems. Had a few good nights in The County Hotel at Immingham with Duncan if ever you see him Mr V round your way tell him Roy (ex Scanfreight/Ewals CC) says hello.
