Understand Evri is a good place to start as a new pass class 1 driver as they offer training through agencies such as turbo .
As Turbo driving are still advertising for drivers at Evri rugby would that be an indication that there are plenty of shifts available even though it’s January?
I’ve no idea what Turbo Recruitment are like as a driver agency but you’re not the best spammers I’ve ever come across
Sorry but I can only give 4 out of 10 for effort, it’s just too obvious

I’m taking my class 1 test in the spring and was just concerned about being layed off in January as everyone says that it goes quite after Xmas .
The question was just that if there advertising does that mean that there would probably be enough shifts to stay full time through January . Was probably hoping there might be someone who worked there who could give me a heads up .
Why restrict yourself to Evri? Genuine question as a lorry is a lorry is a lorry.

Because I can get a start there as a new pass without experience. Genuine answer !
Oh okay then. So why the hesitation? It’s a start, it puts experience on your CV, so why not?
If it’s not to your liking go elsewhere, you’ll not be a new starter then. It’s possible to overthink things. Go for it mate.
I used to drive class 1 for evri a few years ago as a new pass. Not a bad company to work for. Used to do runs to their rugby hub quite often and it was always super busy there.
Loads of places take on news passes (full time not agency) and ignore the experience bit in any ad and just apply anyway and adjust your ‘personal statement’ to suit the role
