Everything's arse about face!

I’m holidaying in Florida at the min. We’ve got a car and to be fair the drivings no biggy. However I know I’m driving too close to the nearside and although I can keep continually correcting,I wondered if any of you lads had any tips please?

Why have you moved my post?

I have lived here 12 years and still drive too close to the nearside, it’s just a defensive thing. I have however found that if I position the vehicle with the bottom middle of the windscreen in line with the edge of the road or the nearside lane marker as I look from the driving seat it is perfectly positioned on the driving lane, this works for any vehicle.

You hit it with your nearside

I did the same thing when we went to Florida a few years ago. First thing the missus said to me when we left the airport was Why are you driving on the hard shoulder?

All I can say is you get the hang of it after a while

I had the same bother driving the car at weekends when I was on left hookers the wife wouldn’t get in with me (so it wasn’t all bad  )
