I loaded at Erith earlier this week for a delivery to Holland. Quite a normal event lately, but I had a weight discrepancy when i tipped of about 100kg
Because the weights are marked on the CMR, I queried it when he claused my papers.
I had weighed off in Erith on a bridge that was “not suitable for trade use” and then delivered to Holland with a 2 bridge set up, in & out.
I explained that my tank was completely empty and the operator had checked it thus.
After many phone calls and delays I was advised to park up while the boss arrived.
Eventually the weighbridge man contacted his boss and they decided that the discrepancy was caused by having 2 lift axles
What chance do we have?
