Even Cooler DAF

Love to know who owns this, sum mota for sure

Its a guy called woods iirc, was in both that and the blue one at last yrs NI truck show at the Kings hall, Im sure Karl or Ross will have more details, that thing is fully loaded, ie flat screen tvs, serious sound system and a fully commisioned paint job, and yes it does work for a living, think she was the first 105 into Ireland.

Ah, Brendan Woods, now thats who owns it? Seen his motors a few times now, normally White Toplines pulling Fridges, must doin do OK alright, some motor…Piggots now thats some motor too, pure class so it is, saw it in Galway when I was over there the other week

Funnily enough I have just watched that film the Field, thought it was OK, Sean Bean was diabolical though.

Gud luck now

theres two brendan woods in transport here in ireland

check out the new johnny cash scania on www.scania.ie

i know piggott very well…smashing truck… hard to believe it was wrote off in belguim heading for truckstar in assen…they were ■■■■ lucky they werent killed…finbarr flatherty(pearl transport) was driving while gabriel piggott was asleep…they tumbled into an embankment!!!

if you see the daf at a show,he has an A4 folder with pictures usually sitting on the catwalk… it was recabbed, painted and received an interior makeover

the field was written by a man from my town…they still talk about the film around here :unamused: :unamused:

Was that crash not about 4 or 5 yrs ago, long before the XF105

thats right ,it was before the 105…i think the crash in the xf was july 2004.there was a very small photo in trucking shortly after where finbarr (who was driving) was warning drivers about hospital cover abroad.
he spent 3 months in a belguim hospital.the daf was then send to holland for rebuild

finbarr owns pearl transport and sell custom accessories…i will post some photos soon
his website is
www.fullthrottleltd.com.

Ya say yer a Kerry man, and Im not sure where Darby O Gill and the little people was filmed so Ill bail out on that one.
