Has any one else been offered a Euro sim card that works in all Euro countries for unlimited calls, no roaming charges, no incoming call costs, unlimited texts and 1gb of data for a flat fee of Eur80pm? Wondering if this is a good proposition or what people are using besides skype or local sim cards?

I never went on Pre-Mod when I joined does everyone?
No roaming charges, as they are built in to the price , and no incoming calls, all for 80 euro per month , if you have money to burn or are a phone hog it may work out cheaper,
I heard on the radio, that they are aiming to get rid of all roaming charges , around August 2014.
Lets hope they do.

thanks guys very observant, a friend is thinking of setting up a firm that offers this so yes am testing the waters a little as thought it would appeal to fellow truckers or spouses overseas. thinking of giving this to my wife and mother-in law to hopefully stop my wages disappearing even more! appreciate the feedback. roaming costs are being phased out but with most EU ideas will probably take 3yrs to go through… having just got my bill from a recent trip to switzerland i think this would be a good idea myself.
Good luck with that i can take my vodaphone mins and data abroad for £3 per day and only get charged for the days i use it
osta Del Sol I use Digi Mobile Sim - 10 euro includes 5 euro calls and 500mb internet, micro sim too and Iphone available, cost me 5 euro to add an additional 600mb , bargain.
In Gran Canaria I have used Lebara Sim, similar to above bur slightly more expensive at 20 euro a sim , in Germany I went in to an 02 shop and got a Sim for 24 euro with 1gb internet. Just make sure your Sim is unlocked before you leave UK.

Only in Ireland,Italy,Austria,Denmark and Sweden. For now.
Hence me taking a contract out with them, for this very reason as we are doimg a lot to Italy.
Once competitors catch on im hoping they will do the same.
So €80 for this seems a lot excessive.

If you have got a friend in the telecoms trade and are not getting any special deals whilst abroad of which there are plenty, you dont need any enemies do you??.

So far it doesn’t break any rules, but it’s a fine line.

Price depends on what uk dara you want
Get unlimited calls and texts in uk and all europe
Eu data buy a bolt on very cheap £25 1gb per month
And keep normal uk number
Works out alot cheaper than my old o2 and vodafone
They are roughly £5 per month more than equiv uk tarriff
So for extra £5 get unlimited calls texts
And data cheaper than others to
Ive had since april and cant fault and my bills are a hell of alot lower
