EU rules for coaches & Lorries

Hi,

I’m intending to do the theory for my coach test. Can anyone more knowledgeable than me advise whether the EU driving rules are exactly the same as for lorries or are their some variations?

No there are some variations with coaches, one of which is the 12 day rule whereas you can do 12 days continuous driving so long as you are outside your country of origin and are on tour with the same passengers you left with .

Another change is the classification of night working. It’s midnight until 0400 for HGV but 0100 until 0500 for PCV.
