I didn’t read further than the words Guy Verhofstadt, I didn’t need to the man is the absolute embodiment of all that is wrong with the EU. As night follows day it would be absolutely predictable that the poll question would be loaded to get the answer required.

Spardo:
socialeurope.eu/the-brexiti … n-politicsIf you don’t want to read all of it, this is the most pertinent paragraph:
Brexit has had a profound effect on EU politics, too. Polling commissioned by the European Parliament
The part highlighted is, I feel, the most pertinent part of the most pertinent paragraph.
Followed by the inconvenient question why would the EU wish to get involved at all with polling on a decision which is only for the relevant State to decide not the Federation. It’s clear that the EU already effectively views secession as a matter for it to decide on and permit and not the state wishing to secede. The obvious inevitable next move being to make secession illegal under the EU constitution. No surprise that those like Spardo would approve of such a move.

It would be interesting to find out what Spardo’s definition of ‘reform’ is.It seems obvious that he’s more about creating an even more centralised soviet style superstate.Sometimes have my doubts that he’s even a Brit. When he talks more along the lines of a typical rabid dictatorial European Federalist of the type usually only found across the Channel from Napoleon’s brainwashed followers to Tito’s and all the other failed despots in between.

The furthest extremes of the political spectrum.
Spardo give up Pal - you’ve read all the posts from Carryfast/Berk/Buzzt et all & it is 100% obvious You Can’t educate Pork
In the near future we are either going back to the 1930s & the pre Winston Churchill world or the world He & our fathers & grandfathers across Europe & the commonwealth fought for to bring peace & prosperity to us all.

Winston Churchill the Federalist who set up the Black and Tan in a doomed attempt to keep Ireland part of the UK.
Then kicked off WW1 by dragging us into a pointless European War that was started because the Austro Hungarian Federation true to form didn’t do secession. This time Churchill ironically on the side of secessionist Serbia when it suited the warmonger.
Followed by the idea that the best way to stop Europe being taken over by a Federal superstate in the form of the 3rd Reich or Soviet Union was to turn it into something similar in the form of the EU.On that note the allies actually fought for the right of Europe’s nation states to exist not for them to be taken over by yet another Napoleonic/Austro Hungarian/Soviet/Yugoslav type vanity project for the elite ruling classes.Peace and prosperity yeah right for Germany and the unelected EU politburo ruling elite.
As for not being able to educate pork.Understanding the fact that just about every war fought in Europe from the Roman invasion to the breakup of Yugoslavia has been in defence of the Nation State against the aggression of the Federation in whatever form, absolutely.
Now we hear that Dominic Raab has just realised that we do a fair bit of trade with Europe, and a good bit of it goes through Dover. With people like this tasked with organising our exit from the EU, what hope is there of any decent outcome? The whole job should have been given to committed leavers from day one.

And hand it from one set of loonies to another set of loonies? Yes, just what the country needs.

Naturally the country of which I have been a citizen for the past 75 years and 10 and a half months.

Yes just as it did before 1973 and before the signing of the Single European Act.While Raab has actually realised that his job is dependent on appeasing a majority remain constituency and his on going loyalty to his Party and its leader remainer May.It’s obvious that the party which took us into the EU was never going to do a sudden U turn in taking us out and Raab knows it just like all the other pretend Eurosceptic Cons.

Strange in that case that the passport says that we’re citizens of the EU Federation. The same EU that you obviously regard yourself as being a citizen of and wanting to stay a citizen of so can’t possibly be 75 years. While it’s obvious that a non sovereign state can’t possibly be defined as a ‘country’.

Barnier was speaking in Helsinky this week and he stated that there is a Nigel Farage in every member state of the EU they are worried by this but not me, lets hope they get a bit braver and start a landslide to destroy this corrupt unelected gravy train called the European Union, Buzzer.
It looks like it is “hotting” up a bit on the Brexit front ! The DUP are defo getting a bit twitchy as to what Mother Teresa is trying to pull off by sleight of hand ! Northern Ireland is going to get “cut loose” by the looks of things as a price Teresa “The Remainer” is prepared to pay to keep in with the EU.
I reckon that we should invade Ireland again and bring it all back under The Union Jack !! NO only joking Lads before anyone’s underwear becomes dishevelled !!! Cheers Bewick. Oh! and PS if we were to invade Buzzer should be made Lord Protector !!

Six of the seven treaties abolishing the country as a Nation have been signed by the Queen.Nuf said.If HM won’t stop it the question is why and who can and who else has that ultimate authority and responsibility.Having said that they’ve got form since the abolition of England and its legitimate government in 1066.

If that’s an English perspective god help us - glad I’m British & not English
Are all the English that racist? You would think that having been in Britain for quite a few Hundred years the English would have integrated by now.
Yes they were still killing the British until recently ( well 300 yrs or so) but surely time now to stop all that bitterness & integrate

The nation state of England and its advanced for the time society ended with the defeat and death of King Harold so a lot longer than 300 years ago.You can blame all the aggro that happened since on the Franco Norman takeover which turned it all by force into the ‘United Kingdom’ all laughably done in the name of England. The English being just as much victims in that as the Scots,Welsh and Irish.
We are supposed to be a democratic nation but more and more as each day passes I am really finding this harder to believe, in 2016 a vote was carried out and the majority wanted out of the EU plain and simple you may think but oh no we have had to endure over two years of back and forth to Brussels trying to do a deal. Now you would have thought in the real world that the majorities wish would be a given with absolutely no strings attached but this is becoming not the case at all, now I have always voted Conservative and before any one starts its my choice but I am now deeply disappointed in its leader our prime minister Theresa May, now its common knowledge that she is a remainer and this is really showing right now. She should be filed for treason for what she wants to commit this country too in the very near future, nothing like what the people voted for and now JoJo has resigned as a direct protest at what is going on.
Going back to voting and those unhappy with the way the Brexit vote went, what would all these remoaners who wanted to stay in the EU voted in a general election and Labour won then in the morning when they got up on the following day they found out that actually they had a Conservative government in power, well that’s exactly how I am feeling at the moment in the fact I am not about to receive what I voted for which was leave. Having said that if there was a general election tomorrow I don’t think I would vote at all and the reason is that politicians are all the same, they are in it for what they can extract in financial terms which is exactly what the EU gravy train is all about. My worry is that if we had an election here and Labour got in we would be even far worse off, of course its each persons choice for whom they vote but I am old enough to have seen that Labour just borrows more to fill the potholes and when it comes to paying back they cannot, no money tree’s yet that keep on giving, seen this in the transport world where puffing billy transport outfits start up and borrow far beyond there means then go bust taking other good people with them and naff the rates on jobs at the same time.
What ever the outcome of this debacle right now I feel strongly about the present situation and I just hope that the whole thing collapses around Mrs Mays lap and we end up leaving with no deal, for sure things will move on what ever the outcome but its not looking very pretty at this moment in time, got to go and feed the steers now Buzzer.
