Could it be he had a majority who liked him enough to vote him in and they overlooked your opinion. Harvey
If he did have, you might have a point (though I would dispute that on the grounds of non-accountability), but the fact is that the majority didn’t vote for him. Only 45% did.
We all play by the rules, or at least try to.
Boris won by the rules as they stand just like anyone else would have.
Right or wrong he won, if we want to change him we must first change the rules that allowed him to win,or,alowed others to loose.

True, still wrong but true. But I suppose you could say that about the Chinese leader too, or Trump. No argument from me but you did say the majority voted for him, which is not true.

Yep. Trump is the legal President according go the US system. More voted for Hilary Clinton, than him, but that’s their system.
If Corbyn would have won would the same comments be made on here . Every dirty trick that could have been played has been against Boris , the country voted again and again the results didnt sit well with some on here live with the result and let Boris get on with his job , Ma Kranky didnt get an overall majority
ramone:
If Corbyn would have won would the same comments be made on here .
They would by me. If he won a big majority of seats without a proportional majority of votes. There is no excuse for a country to call itself a democracy if the number of votes have no meaning.

I dont remember this being a problem before the election , i dont remember anyone on here saying if Boris dosn’t get in but gets a majority vote it will be a travesty. The reason he got in was he became the only one standing that wanted us out and he was the only one who was passionate about what he was saying . 17 million voted out and he was the only one standing up for that vote. Trump whether you like him or not is getting the same treatment , they are trying every trick in the book to oust him … and failing. A Democrat on the news a couple of nights ago said he voted against Trumps impeachment because it was a ridiculous case . He didnt like Trump but he didnt like what was happening either

Well either your memory or your reading over the years is letting you down. I worked out how unfair the system was when just a lad of about 10, and have been banging on about it publicly ever since Heath got screwed by Wilson in 1974, for the same reason.
The 17 million is the referendum, a different subject, we were discussing the election of 2019 and the voting system for GEs.
As soon as the US result was known it was published that Clinton got more votes than Trump, but the faulty Electoral College system let him in.
No Democrats voted against Trump’s impeachment, but one Republican did. Mit Romney, an honest man.

And see what reward honesty has in “The Land Of The Free” under this president: two sacked for testifying against Trump.
Those brave enough to speak without “fear or favour” get that!
And a trial where prosecution witnesses were barred from being called, by the presidents party members.
If this was all happening in, say, China or Russia, wouldn`t we be calling it a party political fix?

Well the democrat on Sky News must have been telling lies then , the interviewer was getting irate because as much as the democrate hated Trump he was totally against his impeachment , but i probably imagined it all

That is the results of voting in the impeachment hearing.
However 2 Democrats voted against having the impeachment process at all.
No Democrats voted against Trump’s impeachment, but one Republican did. Mit Romney, an honest man.
Should be
No democrats voted against Trump’s guilt in the trial (as Franglais says 2 voted against the process) but one Republican didn’t also, Mit Romney, an honest man.
Got myself in a bit of a muddle with all the negatives. The final version is:-
All but 2 Democrats voted for impeachment, but all of them voted for Trump’s guilt in the trial as well as Mit Romney, an honest Republican.
Lots of headlines today revealing Boris and his party in a most unfavourable light. Enforced birth control for non ayrians or the D7 social class, state control of broadcasting because the party got upset that the BBC wasn’t ‘on message’ during the election campaign and a failure to protect citizens because they live in the wrong constituencies. It’s beginning to look like Boris Schicklgruber Johnson.

Welcome to Boristan. Screw the many, for the few. I hope that the new Tories in the North East will remember that they are responsible for this, and what’s to come.
I’m actually quite enjoying the show, in a stark, brutal way.

So it’s pretty much business as usual for the Tory’s then?

What’s this got to do with Boris?
If ■■■■■■■■ says ‘Jump’, Boris says ‘How high’?
Johnson seems to have no clear plan (nor principles). He wanted to get to No 10, and with ■■■■■■■■ aid he has. And, he’ll do as he’s told to stay there.
Finance some vanity projects with borrowed money? But no overarching vision to hold it all together. We’ve got someone making speeches to win votes, when we need someone talking hard truths.

I think you’re right there, he wanted to BECOME PM, I don’t think he’s particularly enjoying BEING PM. He seems to genuinely have no plan or long term vision and basically just tells the electorate what they want to hear.
As Groucho Marx said . . . ‘Those are my principals, and if you don’t like them, well, I’ve got others’

Happen the lead lawyer with Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel would recognise a long lost brother here?
