HRS:
Good afternoon all,

Interesting. Harvey

Par for the course Harvey the supreme court had no right to get involved in this proroguing debacle on behalf of that off white politician as the point of the opposition parties was that they would not have time to discuss Brexit to force there remain agenda, my question is WTF have they been doing for the last three & a half years FFS, Buzzer

I think this needs serious research.
We need to decide whether it is total and complete ■■■■■■■■, or just mostly ■■■■■■■■?

If you don’t know and need research why have you ruled out the option of it being the truth ?.

We need to decide whether it is total and complete ■■■■■■■■, or just mostly ■■■■■■■■?

…or indeed whether it is true?

I’ve done 5 minutes work at the Google coalface.
UK judges are required to cease all overt political action when they get appointed.
How do we know their political allegiances?
They are appointed by the Monarch, in theory, but in reality it is by recommendation within their own ranks it seems. Are all those home counties golf clubs really commie cells?
Baroness Hale was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2013 and made chair in 2017…Blair must have long arms to pull strings and effect that move.
.
I can’t say HRS’s post is total ■■■■■■■■, but it certainly looks like it might be.
.
I’m tempted to ask:
“Where did you get it from?”
but think I’m better not knowing.

ramone:
Boris Johnson a proven and habitual liar ? whereas the opposition are representing the good of the country ,nothing else , no hidden agenda , no sabbotaging tactics for. gods sake the opposition and some of his own party have shown their true colours when it might hit them in their own pocket god forbid.
Another revelatlon last night was not only do the Labour party want a 32 hour week ffs but they also want to relax immigration laws in the EU so we can let more in .Have we learnt anything in the last 50 years

(Deep sigh) . . . Yes Ramone, Boris is a proven and habitual liar.

How would being a judge within an EU court be considered as ‘political’.As opposed to a conflict of interest regarding a solely National matter of Secession from the EU.

Yes not least because he’s an undercover Remainer carrying out a false flag agenda.

Of there was the faintest whiff of truth behind this ■■■■■■■■, wouldn’t Johnson be all over it?
Have we got to the stage that politicians don’t need to tell their own lies? We just look at dodgy posts with duff links, from anonymous original sources and believe whatever we want, totally devoid of common sense?

One wee point however;
UK judges do sit in various EU and other international courts.
It’s not just foreigners! In spite of the ruours

Its probably all ■■■■■■■■ as is the government and all within, 650 MP’s supposed to work for the electorates interest well that is ■■■■■■■■ of the first order as is the EU with all its unelected elite pontificating about day in day out, they just work for there own beliefs and sod the people who put them there in the first place. If the EU was a company it would have gone bust years ago, too many high salaries and too many of them at it, 18 of the 27 countries do not pay in to the system they just take out, how is that right or is that more ■■■■■■■■.
Corbin definitely has a screw loose no thinking again several screws loose, free entry for immigrants, 32 hour week he needs to get real or get out, people in the UK could not survive on a 32hr pay packet even if it was the same money as a 40hr week they work now as the companies employing them would either go bust or move to a cheaper manufacturing base in another country as several big manufacturers already have done.
Think long and hard about the future if we remain in, we will be a nation getting screwed every week for 250 million ( that’s probably ■■■■■■■■ as well) some one will surely let me know, we will have no control what so ever and it wont be any good these remainers looking up later and saying we did not understand what remaining in the EU really meant, it is common sense to be in control of our own destiny making decisions for our selves and not being told what to do like a class of school kids, its definitely time to wake up and smell the coffee else we are doomed.
Just hope Boris has an ace up his sleeve and can pull an iron out the fire, maybe BoJo has ■■■■■■ the EU of that much they wont grant an extension to Brexit, lets hope so and we can get kicked out on the 31st of October and tread our own path without there constant intervention and I will certainly raise a glass if that is the eventual outcome, Buzzer

I watched the parliamentary session yesterday evening on Sky News from when Johnson got up to make his statement. What followed was an absolute and utter disgrace from every member of whatever political party you wish to name. It was totally meaningless, irrelevant and a waste of time and contributed nothing to reasoned, sensible and constructive debate. Ours is supposed to be “The Mother of Parliaments”; God help us all if these politicians are the best we can get to represent us. Johnson is not fit to be PM, even though I vote Tory he was never my choice. Neither is anyone else who spoke last night fit to be PM. Her Majesty the Queen should use her Royal Prerogative and summon the party leaders to her presence and tell them to sort themselves out PDQ.

Couldn’t agree more. An absolute disgrace. Quite embarrassing really, considering we’re supposed to be one of the more ‘advanced’ and ‘orderly’ and ‘civilised’ countries in the world. How would you feel if one of your kids or grandkids behaved like our elected representatives did?

Then again, when the Brexit farce first swung into gear all those years ago, it effectively sounded the death knell for ANY form of constructive reasoned debate.
What an utter shambles Westminster has become (whichever Party you vote for).

But, with the adversarial system we have at Westminster (one side shouting/pointing/jeering at the other side), it was never going to end well.
The ‘Mother Of All Parliaments’ might have been an honourable idea in Victorian times, but in its current form it just reeks of dinosaur mentality. The scenes in Westminster in the last couple of days are pure playground behaviour.

There has been a lot of spouting off today from ‘indignant of Westminster’ about Boris Johnson ‘bringing Joe Cox into the debate’; HE didn’t, it was that stupid mare in black having a menstrual tirade who first brought the name up.

“gingerfold” BoJo may not have been your choice for PM but one would have to agree he certainly has got some action since he was appointed weather it does any good in the long run remains to be seen, as you stated for sure he was not the only one behaving badly but he does seem to have had most of the flack in the aftermath today.
Parliament having resumed is really pointless as there is no action coming from the opposition of any consequence and I fear we will have more of what we saw last night up to the 19th of October then I feel we will see some real fireworks.
As I said before Boris may have not been your choice for PM but in a way he is on the face of things trying to carry out the wish of the majority in the referendum of 2016, every on says he is a liar so we will have to wait and see on that one but for sure if he does take us out with or without a deal he will have done the right thing in many peoples eyes and this could work for him when we eventually have a general election.
Swinson is on another planet for sure and Corbin cannot make up his mind weather to have an ice lolly or a 99 so what will happen is anyone’s guess Buzzer

Not if he’s a part of a Machiavellian type charade on the side of Remain.( Likely ).This is after all the party which took us into the EU,Boris was a loyal Cameron supporter, then he voted with May for BRINO.All the signs are Boris is on your side so spare us the big act.

(Deep sigh) . . . Yes Ramone, Boris is a proven and habitual liar.

(A bigger deep sigh) and none of the opposition lie ,it seems everything Boris tries to do they jump on him from all directions .His language is now under scrutiny whereas the opposition seem to be able to say what they want. It keeps being repeated on here but at the end of the day the opposition have an agenda to stop brexit at any cost that is exactly what is happening.
Do you agree with labour who want to increase immigration levels from the EU.
Do you agree with an EU army
Would you be happy changing to the euro , obviously that one would be a yes

It was totally un-necessary for Jo Cox’s name to have been brought up and Johnson made a crass, thoughtless reply as she was a Remainer, which must have been upsetting for her family. I listen to BBC R4 Today programme during a long drive yesterday morning and Brendan Cox, Jo’s husband was very measured, dignified, and spoke very well indeed. He was followed by Sir Nicholas Soames, who also spoke very sensibly.

I was very impressed with Brendan Cox too. Calm, dignified and talking sense.
