Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Sweden all grant more asylum applications than the UK does.
Doesn`t seem to be like that if you listen to some politicians and newspapers however.

No doubt your explanation for Sweden taking so many is that they they all troop laboriously through Russia and Finland to get there. Bet the Swedes think thank goodness for the Baltic Sea and how much narrower it is than the Straits of Dover.

So there we are after all, brothers, mine too (not my descendants obviously, they are still around) arrived about the same time, from Denmark. The difference between us is, I remember that all our ancestors were immigrants, and not all were welcome, but they stayed and they made good.

You really dont get it do you.My mums pension is paying for her care which is going into the British economy so why would i whinge at her . There would be no point anyway she has dementia.Whereas you take money out of Britain and spend it on pooper scoopers in France so you are contributing to the French economy
