Well News has it today that Putin is pulling out of Syria so obviously no need for us to take in any more refugee’s, they can go back to there country now and sort things out, like that’s going to happen. This thread was on page two, is Carryfast on holiday just wondered.

Myself, I can’t make head nor tail of any of it as there are that many folk offering different opinions (all correct according to them!) and realistically, at my time of life, I’m not that bothered either way. Another off topic post here but ive heard that car tax changes are set for next year. At the moment we pay for the amount of emmissions our cars produce , i was paying £490 a year for my 2.5t petrol Volvo whereas the equivilent diesel was £180 . This was because the MPs decided we needed to protect the enviroment even though the 2.5 petrol did around 25 mpg and the equivilent diesel was over 35 mpg so i was paying at the pumps and on the road fund licence. They introduced free tax for some cars and some paid £20 a year and it went up like ive said on emmissions . I couldn`t afford the tax any longer so ended up buying a D5 at £180 a year tax . Well now they decided to scrap that idea and have a much simpler system where everyone pays £140 a year because they were losing too much money on the lower rate cars !!! so it was ■■■■ all to do with the enviroment , if you buy a new car and it is £40000 or more you have to pay something like £800 plus a year tax for the first 4 years with the new system , so its been confirmed to me what i already knew all MPs are full of their own ■■■■ so when they urge us to vote to stay in the EU i will vote out because they are compulsive liars that are in it for their own gains .
