My feelings that the only thing that may bring this debacle to a head is if another member state falls and my god if one is about to capitulate do it now FFS save us all a load of grief and we can watch the whole thing crumble, Buzzer.

Quite the opposite, the spectre of Britain tearing itself apart has more and more convinced other Europeans that they really don’t want to go down the same route. Even Italian politicians are no longer shouting very much about leaving the Union.

You’re avin a larf. It’s obvious that the Nationalist v Federalist argument exists in numerous EU states.

While as an obvious EU Federalist how can you possibly view remainers as ‘British’ citizens and therefore the argument being a split among ‘Brits’.As opposed to a clear split between Brits v European Federalists.IE remainers ain’t British at all because by definition they’ve relinquished that having chosen to nail their allegiance to the EU and its stinking government and flag.Just as the issue of UK Loyalist v Nationalist within Ulster isn’t by definition a case of ‘Ireland tearing itself apart’.Bearing in mind that unlike Eire and the UK the EU doesn’t even hold a legitimate de Jure state declaration status let alone De Facto Nation State recognition status in either case.Make no mistake the only ‘tearing apart’ going on here is a bunch of traitors with a self loathing of their own country and therefore having instead chosen to throw their lot in with an illegal, rogue, self appointed state, calling itself the EU.Good riddance.

I thought this was a good one… come on, who can put a twist on this to suit themslves ■■        Harvey

Teresa May is riding in her chauffeur-driven limo when there’s an almighty thud and the car comes to a very abrupt halt. “What happened?”, she says, as the driver gets out to investigate. “We appear to have had a collision with a cow, and I’m afraid it’s dead, ma’am”, he says. so she tells him to go and let the farmer know what’s happened. Five hours later, he comes staggering back to the car, cap on backwards, shirt unbuttoned, red-faced, swaying and grinning like an idiot. “Where the hell have you been until now?” she demands. “Well, when I told him, he invited me in and gave me a large whisky, then another and another. His wife put a big dinner in front of me, and afterwards his daughter took me to her bedroom and pleasured me for a couple of hours ma’am!”, he slurred. “What on earth did you tell him?”, she asked. “I said I was Teresa May’s chauffeur, and that we’d had an accident, and the cow’s dead!”

Leave with no deal why not ? can it really be that bad.

Britain isn’t tearing itself apart.Leavers aren’t tearing themselves apart.Remainers led by all sorts of our treacherous political representatives and sundry members of the establishment have spent the last 2 years or so spreading a tidal wave of disinformation and downright lies and scare stories.EU needs us more than we need them whether it be trade or the funds we give them each year.No deal means renegotiating trade tariffs and life will carry on.Lorries won’t be queing up at calais or Dover to clear customs.I suspect the teething problems that will arise will be caused by the French getting arsey and blocking ferry ports,as is their wont.I suspect also that other countries will see how the EU is conducting itself and jump on our coat tails. We are the 5th largest economy in the world for heavens sake.

Truck ques in Dover wont effect the Brits as much as the Euro hauliers as they do 85 to 90% of the in out traffic to the UK nowadays, unfortunately we still do International work so may well effect us if that scenario happens, Buzzer

Theresa May is either passionate or stubborn or a bit of both with a dash of remainer in the mix.She is stuck between a fractured and fractious parliament on one hand and a European alliance that is united for now, just waiting to see what transpires. Two Brexit ministers have quit, and the third is appointed to domestic duties, yet Olly Robbins is still at the forefront of negotiations (in Brussels at least). We seem to be at an impasse here,so… another people’s vote is unacceptable because the last one has not yet been fulfilled.A Leave vote cannot ever be taken to have a Stay in the EU option,so the only course of action is to leave with no deal as was Mrs May’s mantra at the start. We are either a Democracy or a fudge.

Exactamondo, but there is more than a dash of remainer in Mrs May’s agenda for sure, Buzzer

not sure if using Norway as an example is a good idea .They are in the EEA which means accepting freedom of movement and being in the Schengen zone which currently the UK is not they also have to accept many of the EU’s laws in order to be able to trade and pay a substantial sum for the privilege.
I don’t know whether you’ve been to Norway lately but you practically need a mortgage to buy a pint of lager

So we have a few facts…
UK unemployment is currently 4.0%
against 4.8% for Norway.
Norway isn’t in the EU but is in EEA EFTA, so receives EU directions without having any any input into those regulations. It is also in the Schengen area, so EU citizens have easier access there than into the UK.

It is a wealthy country. It has one of the highest per capita GDPs anywhere. Undoubtedly helped by having a total population lots less than that of London. And well over half of it’s economy is from it’s oil and gas reserves.

Prices are a bit higher there too.
Rent 30% higher.
Restaurants 50% higher.
Groceries a whopping 80% higher.

I’m sure it’s a very nice place to live, but direct comparisons between their and our situation are pretty useless.

Does the nationality of the trucks matter?
If transport takes longer it will soon cost more. That means all of our imports will cost more. It also means our exports will cost more, so could cost us customers.
Not to mention the need for just in time deliveries in modern production set ups. Friction on borders means delays and costs for end users more than hauliers.

^ This.

And still Conservative European Federalist Party voters stay loyal to this treasonous rabble from Churchill to May.

Oh wait as a European Federalist your definition of ‘us’ means the interests of the EU not the UK.

Yes it doesn’t take a Conservative European Federalist Party Chancellor to realise that Brexit will only work by replacing ‘our’ massive European trade deficit with more domestic production.Which a no deal Brexit will allow unlike May’s BRINO stitch up.In addition to building on our far more advantageous non EU trading relationships such as with the US,which again Juncker won’t allow under remainer May’s cozy ‘deal’ with her EU allies.Which, together with ending our the EU contributions burden is bad for us how.

UK unemployment stands at more or less a similar level as that of Norway ( too high ).Which makes the case for the free movement of imported foreign labour how.

Yes we know Norway is an EEA member state which means being subject to EU rule and contributions with no say at all in the already pointless EU Federal parliament.Yes we know that it’s trading relationship with the EU is all about the supply of Norwegian resources to the EU which the EU can’t provide for itself.Much like the depletion of UK oil and gas reserves and open access to our fishing grounds.Which makes the case for May’s choice between remain or EEA style BRINO how.( Yes we know Farage recommended a Norway type deal just like he recommended trusting May to deliver Brexit.Oh wait the same Farage who was a Conservative European Federalist Party member and loyal supporter of committed Europhile campaigner Thatcher. The same Thatcher who sold out the country’s industry to the EU ).This whole machiavellian false flag Federalist conspiracy has now reached laughable levels in having twisted its own agenda to the point where its now biting itself in the arris.

Well, we haven’t done so badly from the past forty years of EU cooperation then have we?

You are joking “malmic” aren’t you ? The woman is a dyed in the wool Remainer and has she ■■■■■■■ like tried to get us a good deal ! Her objective has always been if not to keep us fully in the EU but to keep us in at least in all but name ! And I would repeat to her face what I believe to be the truth ! It will now be a miracle if the UK can stagger toward the 29th of March and we manage to leave with “no deal” which is the only sensible clean break outcome that will deliver what 17 odd million of us voted for in 2016 anything less than this will be an affront to Democracy ! Cheers Bewick.PS and I agree with you that Jeremy Corbyn is the last ■■■■ I, along with millions of sensible sane folk, want to see in No 10!
