I have a question in relation to drivers licence and hope somebody hear might be able to help
I am in Ireland and I have a category B & D Licence restricted to automatics since circa 2000, However I recently done driver theory and applied for a learner permit in category C truck I then passed the CPC theory and practical and of course the driving test itself
in a manual truck 4 beside 4 split gearbox.
Now the Licencing authority here are refusing to give me a licence unless with restriction (78) on all categories including truck ?
any advice would be greatly appreciated are they correct in doing this ?
Do they expect me to sit a manual car test and other categories again ?
