Doesn’t look very familiar does it?
Ken.
tga xxl with diffrent badge
jon
not bad but i would look better if the steps were covered like the man tga
We have, amongst Rob K’s favourite Renaults,a batch of ERF’s with the low roof TGA cab,and you can tell the difference with what ERF have missed off the spec in relation to it’s sister trucks. So as for the step covers missing,I’ll bet there are a lot more differences.
Ken.
I prefer trucks without step covers, it gives you somewhere to pur you tea so you can open the door with a bacon butty in your hand. I drive a TGA at the moment and have to put my tea on the catwalk. Unlike my old premium where the door was the perfect size to clear my tea on the step.

…always one in’there.

I think its the dogs danglers Tom, a XXL cab with a ■■■■■■■ motor, nice.
Mal.
our firm just got two of these and true to what jonboy said its a man cab with a erf badge still but with a ■■■■■■■■ nice though i,ll swap it with my ec11 but the driver told me politely to go fourth and multiply
I think it looks cool too Mal, but still can’t make up my mind between Olympic & XXL. Spoke to ERF rep last week & got the brochures in the post.
Also probably gonna take a trip down to the factory & have a close up look. Although, saying that, I still like the Globetrotter for looks!

if your doin euro go for the volvo if your doin uk have the erf and save your self some dosh just get em to cover them steps
Hi Jonah!
As for saving… price quoted today from ERF rep for my spec Olympic cab was £57,779.
With 420 ■■■■■■■■ (which he said will pull like a 460) deduct £2,500 from above.
Still waiting on Volvo quote…
ado tom thats not a bad price dont ■■■■■■■ do a bigger engine than that my mate asked volvo and scania for qutes before he bought his 480 magnum hes had that 6mths and still no quote why do some of the big players dealers not take owner drivers seriously
■■■■■■■ do a 14ltr 600bhp engine,or at least they did 3 years ago when I used to go to the Darlington plant on a daily basis, but I’m uncertain as to whether they still do.It came out at about the same time as the 600 bhp engine from MAN,but I don’t think they were related at the time.
Imagine,14ltr ■■■■■■■ 600bhp,with twin Eminox’s…sweet music.

Shame they dont still fit a twin splitter, that really would be the ‘puppies privates’
The best thing to do is check out the ■■■■■■■ stand at Truckfest. It comes from the Darlington factory, and used to be run by some friends of mine from the plant.I don’t know if they still run it,or if it is done by someone else now,but if you ask about engines,I’m sure they’ll tell you if they still make the 14ltr monster in 600bhp form. And if my memory serves me well, the tractor unit that towed the display trailer, had the 600bhp engine in,but I can’t remember what the unit was.I think it may have been a (Iveco Eurostar cabbed) Sed-Atki.
You then toodle off to the ERF stand and ask the if they do it as an option.
