Anyone done this? Got 20 pallets for them tomorrow morning and everything on Google looks not very good to say the least lol. Anyone got any info?
No…
I’ve never done it but, for it’s worth. Long before Satnav and Google street map etc, we’d have a look in the A-Z map at the nearest MSA and memorise the way in. We went everywhere completely blind.
Can’t see why that technique wouldn’t work here. Ok, it ain’t the widest industrial estate I ever seen but it’s not the tightest either. Only a complete putz would get stuck there.
Thanks. I’m not sure an A to Z would actually help here bearing in mind I know where it is and know how to get there…
I was just wondering if there was any other access other than front door.

Yeah that’s as far as I’ve got. Just wondering if anyone has actually done it in some form but atm it’s looking like a round the back jobbie. I’ll be there about 6am so I’ll dump it on the main drag and have a wander.

Have you not got a phone number to contact the client Toonsy ■■
Who’s the client ?
If it’s round the back then this has to be your route in and out

Edit to add :::
I hate delivering to Brum !!!
Me too. And Bristol
Was going to go down Aston Expressway, over the flyover, off at the exit after that then right towards Jewellery Quarter, to the island just past it then first exit and an immediate left.
Got a collection from Oceanic Saunas in Wolverhampton afterwards which looks like it might be fun too
Often see a lot of container wagons on the Icknield Street which is to the rear of the front of the place you want so it’s very possible they could be delivering/collecting from the place you want given the description of what they do.
Looks like you’ve got an interesting day ahead of you then

Interesting is one word. I’d use a different one

Very good Bino, love that reply! And when your Prat-nav suddenly decides to do one and completely disintergrate■■? You will do what exactly ■■?
Let me think, I know I’ll go and buy… a map!!!

Point very well in my origional post. I should have stressed the ‘we went in blind’ part. We just found where it was and went there.
I’m not slating anyone for using Satnav or Google maps just pointing out that if no one here on TN had done the drop, the OP would just have to drive there and see how the land lies.
Here we go again .a guy asks a perfectly reasonable question…anyone been there/done that, which could potentially save the OP endless faffing about, and the “old school” jump down his throat
what’s the problem with you guys ?

Tru dat.
Some can’t accept that technology is the future,I’ve drove for 14 years and never owned a A-Z…never needed to just use a sat nav.
Chill gents.
As it happened I knew where it was roughly just wanted to know if I could save any ■■■■■■■ about. Turns out it is on Hockley Hill and NOT round the back after I walked around a bit.
So panic over both modern and older techniques were used and nobody died that I know of yet lol

Was it on that slip road to the roundabout ?
Yeah just at the start of it by the ‘CEBF’ place or whatever it’s called. In fact it’s in the yard of that. Horrible place to get into and out of.
