Entry job in Motorsport

This might be worth a look if you’re interested in working in motorsport, they obviously would like an experienced truckie, but they are in short supply and as I’ve found out it’s sometimes better to take on a keen truck driver and train them into the job.

I’ll give you more info about what the job might involve on pm if you’re interested, but the driving is a small part of the job, lots of grafting, building and taking down awnings, keeping kit clean and tidy, looking after the truck and most likely doing tyres, at F3 you’ll more than likely be in the pit lane during the race. Mainly it’s not as glamorous as people think it is.

I don’t know a lot about the team, but this was posted on my facebook page by a lad I used to work with who now is a mechanic at the team. Looks like they have a good calender plenty of European rounds and testing. Not sure whether they expect you for just racing and testing or also to be in the workshop during the season and then not required out of season hence self employed.

Vacancies:
Truck driver for our Formula 3 operation, based at Silverstone Circuit.

We are currently looking for a self-employed, self-motivated Motorsport Truckie with a HGV license. We could also consider a Truck driver, with a HGV license, who have a keen interest to learn to become a Motorsport Truckie. You must be a person with great attention to detail, tidy, clean and well organised.

If you find this position interesting please contact Bobby Issazadhe for more information.
