From what I know working/talking with their drivers. Average pay, easy job, don’t have the newest lorries, one driver left us 3yrs ago to work in their sharpness base and is still there.
Easy enough job on the class 1 tippers. Collect from scrapyard, take it to depot, then load processed material and take that to a customer, most stuff ends up on the boat.
As they have a few depots you stay fairly local. So the Gloucester/sharpness depot covers up to the south of Birmingham and you cover the s.west and s.Wales. Not sure how frequently they do nights out.
