I’ve tried reading this backwards and it still makes no sense. What is a shotgate? Anyway, it seems all food based companies are struggling at the moment, Fresh Direct and 3663 have big signs up near their Bicester depots. My ex employer still hasn’t replaced me and the driver who left just before me, over a month ago. Why should drivers do any job that requires manhandling stuff, getting up at silly o’clock for the same money you’d get doing something easier and with more sociable hours?
Howdens have agency doing Fowler Welch stuff out of Spalding next week although I don’t know how the hell that is paying given its 100 miles from the yard to Spalding - Fowler Welch must be paying some daft money.
Can’t wait to turn up at a Tossco cold store goods in and say “Howdens Joinery, got a load for you.”
shortage I assume
no sign of it yet once again people buying more than they need
My local supermarket shelves are well stacked, my goods are arriving in the post on time no problems, bread & milk in the fridge fresh & I can easily find derv (at a decreasing price) for my car.
A bit of hand balling never hurt me. a RTA did though.
Sorry _shortgate

I thought it was an encrypted message relating to Southgate in North London.
Well Aldi stores in the S.East won’t be short of stock. some stores now having 3 loads a day into them from our depot, stockrooms at stores are rammed to capacity and we are struggling to find space for all the pallets.
Be glad when this xmas rush is over…

Ain’t that the truth. Doubling pallets up regular now (toilet/kitchen rolls, regular sized cartons of light goods).
