Employment tribunal fees

The Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals Fees Order 2013 has now been approved and is awaiting appointment, likely to come into force on 25 June 2013 provides that issue fees (either £160 or £250) and hearing fees (£230 or £950) must be paid for the case to proceed as well as a £600 mediation fee (payable by the respondent for judicial mediation).

I think that as from 29th July you have to pay these fees in order to get a hearing

Join a union they fight it for you and pay

I agree with the earlier reply for the price of a couple of pints or a packet of cigs. pay dues to the transport union get the full back up, simple

If the respondent pays it and you as a worker are claiming it will not matter.
