Hello is anyone employed by Stobart’s at Doncaster or Stobart’s in general?
I am trying to get some background on how the company treat their employed drivers and generally see if it’s a good company to work for.
The reason I ask the reports on the Indeed recruitment site under Stobarts are very negative, I understand they may not pay the best but are they a good company for a new driver like myself?

I am agency and I find they are ok. Very disorganized so expect lots of waiting while they plan your work but I never get chased.
From what I understand as a new driver you will have a few days with someone before you go on your own.
With no offense, even if they are rubbish take the money and experience and move on in a few months if you don’t like it

To be fair mate, I hardly see positive comments about any employer on Indeed or anywhere else. Give it a go, sus it yourself. Nice uniform, good trucks [emoji23]

Cheers yeah I defo need the experience at the moment and yes I have been told once I have been to Appleton for 2 days I am with another Driver / Mentor for a couple of weeks on the job
