I got told off at B&Q’s Preston Brook site last week for walking round the outside of the canteen to get to the toilet. Apparently this was a non designated walkway and didn’t have the training or the authority to walk there. What I can’t understand is that I have to use this same area to walk through to get to my trailers in order to do the buckles up and put the cord through, so whats the difference
The best part is that to get to the canteen I now have to walk through the main warehouse where all the fork lifts/electric pump trucks are operating Doesn’t make sense to me but hey, I’m just a lorry driver
We have a similar situation crossing the trailer park when going in to work.
Not allowed through it 'cos of danger risk.
Clock on , and walk through it to get unit.
Suddenly not dangerous!
