Election 2015 exit poll

well i hope you noticed it was budget day today and the torys have done what they do best, cut the money to anyone who is poor, and give a nice hand out to those who dont need it

on the plus side billy at least by 2020 every driver out there will at last get paid more than 9 quid an hour. i can just hear the drivers jumping up and down with excitement

however i do think something has had to be done with the working tax credits as its been used for to long by employers to fund there low pay conditions so for that i give it a thumbs up however i would hope that the people who will lose tax credits get the same money as they would of done but paid for in there wages by there companys rather than the state so they dont lose out.

already people are saying unemployment is going to rise as a result as firms will cut staff to pay for the increase.

its so uncanny that this budget was so like what the labour party were trying to push in the general election

i am undecided if i agree with it or not to be honest ? if its hurts people who are on low incomes then i wouldn’t be for it but so long as the employers have to pay out to make up the shortfall then that is ok as the bosses have got away with paying low pay for so long at the tax payers expense.

anyway no doubt William you will not take a blind bit of notice, my food bank business should be booming by the end of this 5 years

In work benefits are just a form of subsidy for low wage employment. The idea of stopping that situation was/is ( rightly ) more a UKIP policy not a Labour one.The difference with the Cons being that their idea of ‘increasing wages’ will be less workers working longer hours.

As for UKIP the jury is still out concerning their intentions in that regard. However the idea of trying to stop the over supply of the labour market using cheap immigrant labour suggests that UKIP’s economic policy was arguably at least in better faith than the Cons. :bulb:

i wasnt aware of who came up with the bright idea in the first place ? just what i have heard on the news and labour seems to be getting the credit as they were shouting about it in there manifesto

as for ukip that is certainly the party that has brought about so much change in just a few short years

who would ever believe that we could say we have had enough of people coming over here etc and not be branded a racist ?

ukip have certainly hit the policitcal correct loonys over the head by being brave and speaking out, saying what most of the people really think and feel but people are just to scared to say anything

its a clear as glass to me that if they stop the flood of drivers for example coming over here, then our own wages would go up throught the roof as we just dont have the drivers needed over here as many like me have got out

but should wages go back up to the rates they really should be, then i am sure you would see a return of many of the old lads who have given up with all the political correct nonsense that is in the game

it really does seem at times that this country is hell bent on keeping money low for most, making people work hard for little money, the nhs is a prime example of what happens when people come from over seas start to become the main workers in that sector, its got so bad that now we as a country depend on them to work for little money so we can get some kind of treatments

the same is happening now in the hgv world. i wonder how long it will be before the hgv game is based purely on the imported people ?

the referendum will help if we vote to come out of the eu but knowing the torys they will find loop holes along the way that will make it look like there delivering what the people want, but it will be masked with so many but only if this or that etc
