I’ve been asked to come for and interview about a job with Elddis out of the Consett depot in the north east. Always see them about but never spoke to anyone that works there before. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with them and knows anything about wages, conditions etc before I go ahead and jump ship If I was offered a job there

They work with and trunk with Lenham storage so at least some of the loads will be crisps, toilet rolls and biscuits for high street distribution.

Haha the unit I’m currently on now only does 53 so I’m well used to that, not fussed what I drive tbh just most interested in what their wages are like and what they’re like to work for. I’m happy where I am atm but the wages aren’t the best but I’d hate to move only to find they’re horrible to work for.

Its an interview,attend and ask all the questions you want,and if you have any doubts turn it down.thats simple enough.No good asking on here as you will get different answers, dont like the work or dont like driving certain brand of motor,dont like Fred Blogs in the office.they like their pounds worth.
I went for job once with a well know supermarket outfit,stopped the interview with an abrupt halt, as soon as they said it was 01.00 start because they could not get anybody to start at that time,money was good but 01.00 on 5/7 but was not for me.
