Decided to start a separate threat for the ever popular Edward’s yard in Lydbrook. Just wondering if anyone remembers a guy called Dave Williams aka JC who ran a black F12 Volvo with ‘red indian’ chief heads painted round the cab. From what I remember he used to run pipes from E.A.L. tubes in Lydney. Any info or photo’s would be great. Any other info on drivers that used the yard would be good as well… Just found a picture of it;

Sorry but got the name completely wrong and have changed it, so consequently I’m not sure of the loads. I’ve spoken to someone in the know and he says that the truck was sold to somebody in South Wales. What happened to it afterwards is anybody’s guess.
Spent many mornings in Llanwern and took the pictures. The rates were good in Llanwern, opposed to Livox,Stowfield,etc.But again hauliers were only interested in there own rates,most went bust.We packed up,after four generations.Would love to run a couple of lorries now,but can`t believe anyone can make any money
