Hi All
Wondered if there are any ex Eddom drivers on here ? I did a short stint with them after selling my truck
and can say my eyes were opened even wider working for this guy !
Would like to share any stories, rumour’s, photos that you may have good or bad.
He ran a top fleet paid a pittance and sometimes paid his bills
I am led to believe he is in Spain working from there is this true ?
Regards
Kenny
My old man in B262 YCK - had a run in B261 YCK, which I gather is still allive & well. Finished off in an E-plate 3600 Space cab.

I had one of those E plate 3600’s on round timber haulage while John was repaying his debt to society.
An old workmate worked for Eddoms, Chris Hogden last heard of in Norway or suchlike. He taught me to drive a powder tanker all those years ago.
I had the misfortune to sub for Mr Eddom in the early 80’s (83-84?) the less said the better!!
Except to say when it finished up in court-a bad load of meat from Greens of Oldham (?) on behalf of Anglo Dutch meat - my Barrister got me all money due plus interest!!!

I repaired his reefer units in the 80s/90s but he was always over his credit limit/on the stop
He would get the drivers to pay with DKV cards.
One driver comes to mind had a wooden leg, nice guy always broke down in Folkstone
What is Mr Eddom doing now??

That would be Billy Ham from Bolton area, he had a heart attack at the wheel near Crick early 90s ■■ and died / was killed.
I was told Eddom is in the Malaga area still involved in transport, don’t know any more than that but will still be knocking people
that I am sure of !!
