I make plenty of mistakes, but sending text messages isn’t a mistake is it, it’s an act of stupidity.

Good luck with the new job, and I don’t see stobarts as the creme de la creme. They are just drivers like the rest of us. And yes your truck might be better than mine(57 plate man xxl) but I know for a fact I earn more money than a stobarts driver and at the end of the day that’s the only reason I work

the only reason i work is to please eddie,i just love eddie stobart and everything it stands for and anyway i get special"eddie rate" coz my dad was mates with him at school :sunglasses:

i think if drivers just concentrated on there own driving instead of looking for reasons to pull along side and sound the horn ( which can be just as dangerous) the road will be a safer place, we all see allsorts of stupid acts but if trying to spot stobarts doing something wrong and then posting on here is your thing then what a sad existence. isnt the whole stobart thing getting so boring am sure if i used roadhawk i could post some altercation on here everyday from every company, if this wasent a stobart then it would never of been posted or replied to :unamused: :unamused:

Aren’t Stobarts/ weren’t Stobarts, supposed to be the creme de la creme of drivers?
I mention them here, because they seem to have a brilliant reputation, and all I see from a lot of their drivers,
is ■■■■ poor driving. I don’t look out for it…It happens! :unamused:

you are talking wet and just another boring post, dont no were your info comes from but i assumed all drivers took the same test, am sure your driving skills are tip top while your on the hunt for other drivers mistakes, talk about a drama :unamused:

hey dusty,me and u bro.the drivers that are looking to ■■■■ up your back all the time are only bitter and twisted coz they`re driving around in old knackers.the only reason for the constant knocking is envy

i couldnt care less to be honest, people have reasons to knock the company for there own reasons of which i happily join in, my views are always guided towards the reality of the working man, i dont care for tv shows, stobbie spotters what unit i drive, i try to be honest without upsetting and try to point out my view from how i see it whether am right or wrong,

i can only comment for myself, and if it wasent stobarts it would be wincanton then dhl just a typical childish mentality by apparent grown adults, driving is a job some may say a way of life, for me it was a childhood obsession to drive a truck, but now i drive a truck because its what i fell back on, i would prefer to read diarys of drivers, old stories from the old timers, and try and help others wanting info,

i think many threads are just like this one spawn from a narrow minded view of the world around them, and trying to find comfort in what you quoted “trying to ■■■■ down your back” some people find solace in the ridicule of others to try and hide there own shallow and tainted life,
there are members on here of which i dont always agree with 100% of the time but that makes healthy discussion, i would never admit to loving my job or company but i will always defend myself and the choices i make, but the whole stobart enigma is very boring, and unless its helpful i carnt see the point in a grown man or women posting petty stories about certain company drivers,

well hope this helps   …by the way if i could find a better job i would jump ship

ps i had to edit it you actually said “■■■■ up your back” not down it :sunglasses:

Crash-box; But calling it a crash-box offends some of the old timers if you’re reffering it to a vehicle newer than a 60s model. In other words, a gearbox where you have to double-declutch. In this day and age you wont come across them unless your firm runs Fodens/ERFs/MANs.
