That would be Hyslop’s at Kirkconnel now a Skip Hire depo owend by Oakbank from Dumfries. What garage in Sanquhar did you deliver to at that time there was 3 did petol sales.
Thanks for the offer of the photos I have that many idea’s of models I would like to do If I live to be a hundred I still wont manage them all thats for sure. But I will keep it in mind and if I change the mind I will know where to come to.

Hi Eddie, yes it was mrs hyslop that had that petrol station, I think the one in sanquhar was just off the main street on the left hand side.(this was 1975…76) i dont think it will still be there ,cheers matt.

Now there’s another one to add to the list never tried a transporter. That was a cracker the Maggie I loved the coffin stuck on the back o the cab you can just picture some poor bloke trying to get into that. Dieseldog there is a model of a Scania that Consettbell did it’s on Truck Model World’s site it’s a top model aswell.
