Won’t find it because I won’t be looking

The Beaver is the man for the job. Devastatingly handsome, and modest with it.

Ice roads? Pfft. I once drove on a muddy road with no diff lock engaged. Ave it!!

Gay day man.

Thum thar Ice Road Truckers don’t go home for tea, dear boy.

Dipper_Dave:
All these programs are a bit tongue in cheek and your average driver can spot the fake, just for telly dramas a mile off.

Just watched this weeks ice road truckers and trying to work out why in snowy conditions with double drive axles these daft buggers only have chains on one of them. Poor Art who is useless found himself stuck for 24 hours because he must have lost his shovel then choose to attach a strap to the weakest part of another blokes trailer, que predictable drama.
I reckon from scratch I could do it better.

What this programme needs is a handsome Uk trucker to be flown over and paid a fortune to show em how its done, ideally one thats given it the big un on a tinternet forum.

poor Art is being made to look like the new Rick,Art has been on bush/ice roads for years and creative post production makes him look like a real swampdonkey. the biggest laugh is Lisa and her "partner " lol new company my arse .they are both American competing against Canadian companies it cant happen , they both run lee river transport outfits a Canadian company .
dipper dave you might even be in for a chance…the job adverts on kijiji Winnipeg are due about now and they don’t take the most experienced drivers ,interesting stories seem to be the :unamused: :open_mouth: main thing.

You still swigging white lightning round the back of yer trailer Nowak?

Get a bloody home FFS!!

That wasn’t wallpaper paste!

My missus has seen that photo of you on TNUK.

She isn’t sure what is worse. Being homeless, or looking like a Bee Gee.

Hi just viewed the first show about Eddie stobart last night…it dealt with fuel tankers I didn’t realise that this was such a small part of the fleet …one thing that I couldn’t figure out when they said 6 months training for what you call ADR…when I started I got about three days initially and gradually got qualified at various loading facilities all over the place including Edmonton and Calgary alberta and the coop refinery in regina Saskatchewan. I ve never heard of training that long unless the student was a real slow learner

. here is one I drove about ten years ago

Typical thing over here, they all want to make a big deal out of everything. The actual ADR lessons & tests only take days to complete, maybe the people working there aren’t very bright hence needing 6 months training…

eagerbeaver:
robinswh. Stobart’s only employ the finest ’ premier ’ driver’s. It is a calling that only the elite can answer.

cough
