Eddie Stobart vacancy

On notice board last night Tour Guide for Stobart Rugby depot, showing fans around & explaining what they do. Any one like to reply i have details

I could do this. Listen to my spiel.

Right fools, this a truck, this is a driver, this is a load. Driver gets in truck, drives, unloads, comes back then goes home. Now gimme your money.

How did I do, have I got the job ā– ā– ?

Whatever floats your boat I suppose…

absolutely ridiculous, what else are eddie stobart going to come up with,i watched their programme on telly and the thing that annoys me is when they overdramatise what their drivers do,they come across what every driver comes across everyday during their work, and you get the narrator saying in a deep dramatic voice WILL HE /SHE BE ABLE TO DO IT,it could be anything from a blocked exit or a road with cars either side which the average hgv driver would have no problem, but as i say it is over dramatised when its one of eddies boys, pathetic, also watched the episode on the 31 5 13,and in one part the narrator said the next mission is only for the toughest of truckers,5 drops around manchester to tesco retail shops,ARE THEY FOR REAL,muppets

It’s not Stobarts overdramatising things, it’s the TV production company !

As it has been said many times before, without the drama from the narrator it just wouldnt be an interesting programme for the general public.
It is laughable for us as we do the job day in day out.

Can’t believe some of you ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  still believe this is a real life documentary. Its a hammed up pile of dross for the public. If it offends you that much, do as I do…don’t ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  watch it. Or is that beyond your pea sized brains comprehension?

They must be doing something right, these days theres hundreds of channels and you can even set up programmes to record so you can watch later on… Yet you’d all rather watch eddie stobart then come on here and tell us how bad it is…

thank you so much for sharing that with us we would not have known otherwise

If you made as much money as Stobart does from the spotters, wouldnt you encourage it? Good business sense i reckon.
Sad as ā– ā– ā– ā– , watching trucks drive about, but each to their own.
How many of you pay to go into truckfest and wander about looking at different coloured trucks, hmmm, almost the same?
