I’ve applied online for HGV1 casual driving jobs at Eddie Stobarts in Rugby. Their training academy said they would recommend me for an assessment. Has anyone any contacts at the depot whom I should chase this up with? Any help greatly received. Thanks. 
not sure about now.but when Stobart was in Crick,assestment was drive from yard till M1 and back.all taked up to 10-20 minut.just drive carefully at Crick around tesco and ,there some speed restiction and plenty not usualy roundabound.as well daily check around truck with full explanation.if you pass all you get final meetning with some managers.

Just be aware they want you to commit to 18 shifts a month and they commit to nothing. Good luck!
