Took me nearly 5 mth to get my licence back after I took my medical & had to be a little economical then
Call DVLA medical and ask them why there is a delay - there is usually something on that D4 which has them a ‘cause for concern’ so find out what it is and see if you can address it
The only other thing which could cause a delay is if DVLA have sent your application for a provisional to your TC for approval because of an ‘issue’
