Eddie Stobart Apprenticeship

Is it worth doing?
Or am I better off paying my way through myself and then finding work?

Dont know, but surely the aprenticeship will give you driving experience which it seems most companies want before they will employ you. Would avoid the catch 22 situation of no experience no job, no job how the hell can i get experience!!!

I would of done it. After you have got the two years exp with them you could move on or stay with them alot of ppl slag them off but a job is a job they may not pay the best but they are willing to put ppl in wagons with no exp and even pay for it. i myself are hoping they open a
depot round here as i wouldnt mind a job with them new kit every three years the drivers ive spoke to seem happy enough…

A job is a job good luck.

If I hadn’t of been so lucky getting passed and a decent job straight away I’d of gone for it.

Licenses all paid for, experience, and then a decent job…

I’d not imagine you’ll struggle getting other work if you’ve done 2 years for Stobarts.
