Eddie does it again

I’d love to know what Slofarts annual insurance premium is or are they ‘self insured’, like ‘my’ lot…the claims accessor would be easy to spot in the street… he’d be the one with his head down, sobbing uncontrollably and his palm firmly stuck to his forehead…must be one of the safest jobs to have in the country!
And is it just me or can you tell when one of the Green Dreams motors have been in because everybody else has parked miles away in a tight group so as to avoid them, just like we do in a nice car at the supermarket…park miles away to avoid those that clearly don’t look after theirs!

looking at the way the curtain has gathered I would say stobbie was reversing, either way there is no excuse for that…

Looks a bit tight though for getting out :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

I was there when it happened, I was parked next to that Renault

Such a shame because going by how nice the Volvo is ,the driver looks after her and looks keen ,so a shame.

Does look like the Stobbie driver had nosed into the bay for whatever reason during a break / rest, and it’s all well and good blaming the driver for his massive parking / reversing error, but it’s nice to see how many jumped out to assist him and guide him out.

allegedly you cant do that nowadays because your on break and assisting another driver would class as other work… :unamused:

In his defence, the tippers discrete livery does make it hard to spot!

Stobbies are the only artics i’ve ever seen drive into the parking bays at Northampton (Rothersthorpe) MSA southbound, would have been bollocksed for getting out if anyone had been daft enough to park beside :unamused: , but they weren’t daft enough and i don’t blame them, not wanting to risk me motor getting trashed i buggered off and took a break elsewhere.

No, he was going round, and there was loads of room the other side. He tried to reverse but it was that entangled in the cab, he wasn’t able to, the cab started rocking

It wasn’t actually a bay, the volvo was on the end

The spotters have now given up on the trucks, they are now trying to spot permanent drivers (green shirts).

Nearly all the drivers I worked with out of Appleton have left. One lad who used to be at P&H and then went to Appleton has just been given 3yrs jail for child grooming. (Check out Warrington Guardian/Simon Brooks)

NO WAY!!!

You could always tell the DeVSA man you were relaxing by using a variation of the ancient oriental martial art of Tai Chi

I Wonder if Stobbies driver has ever heard of Spec Savers, :    . Regards Larry.

Is that ways driver in the last picture, looks like he’s banging his head on the trailer

If he was just going forwards around that then that’s a serious misjudgment with all that space to his near side. And also a serious lack of mirror check to see where the trailer was and where it wasn’t going ie around that orange unit

their entire fleet is the same, is a shame as they all take pride in their units and even trailers

They have a lovely fleet of bulkers, see several every day going to Portland Port.

How many do they run ?
