Hi, I’m new to trucks, I have a DAF lf45 library bus that’s a campervan now, but it doesn’t have the control box for the suspension. The ECAS warning is on the dash, the arse end looks lower that the front. Does anyone now if all ECAS control boxes have the same socket plug ? Mine looks like it only has 4 pins inside, the ones on ebay have 6 pins. I’m abit lost at this, I need the box I take it to get the bus level ? Can anyone help me and point me in the right direction please ?
Although the vehicle is truck based it will most likely have a bus ECAS system that is different to a truck.
It probably won’t like the missing handset but it also has an array of sensors, so for example, the level can’t be altered unless the bus door is closed and one of those may have gone awry.
Here’s the various remote units and scroll down for connectors
99% of the time it is just a standard LF which has had a library body fitted ,so will have the standard air suspension fitted t the LF …You wil need a handset ,as it missing will put on a warning ,Yes you will need the correct on for the vehicle, even though they general look the same

Many thanks norb, I will try to get one cheers
Just a question norb, the rear end looks a lot lower than the front, is it ok to drive ? Would the STOP light on dash come on if it wasn’t safe ? If its too low I mean ?
Thank you again.

Take Norb’s advice over mine (and probably anyone else’s) where DAF is concerned.
