I’m sat in Thames industrial prk east Tilbury getting loaded and a noticed a learner rigid just pass in front of me, it was sign written with easy as HGV.
Have they started doing proper training or are they still a broker?

Yeah that bugs me too lol. I was reading something online the other day and about 10+ times in the article it said “lorries and HGVS”
I thought they still were but I’ve never seen another broker with their own branded vehicles.
Still a broker they use Newcroft as their trainer down this way
There are a few brokers that also have their own training vehicles but their primary business is still to act as middlemen
As far as I know nobody from this site has trained using their own vehicles so until someone does then we cannot say how good or not they are on that aspect of their business
Why not give Newcroft a ring direct. Run by a lady called Kim they are not a bad company. Save a load going direct.

Newcroft are indeed good in what they do…Bob is their main trainer in Ipswich and a thoroughly friendly knowledgeable guy got me through my Cat C.
I did my cat C with Newcroft in Thurrock… Via easy as HGV SHOCK HORROR before I learnt my way. One failed test later I massively regretted going via ea hgv as the retest cost was about 3x more than they would have charged direct, but of course they can’t risk it.
Problem was they were pretty poorly ranked on google and didn’t come up under the normal ‘LGV training Essex’ etc.
For CE I went direct to Roadtrain only because they are the test centre too, but I was equally happy with both companies and would recommend both- but DIRECTLY!
When I was getting info/costs I discovered that Easy as HGV and the LGV Training Co are actually the same company. LGV did have some of their own centers so am guessing they have a few of each branded vehicle at each of these sites. They did admit that other sites are third party however.
