No problems because of thier race… Only ever have problems with miserable and rude people and race tends to have no bearing on misery and politeness.

Quite often find they are more friendly and polite than uk staff, however that’s not to say it is always that way.

Agreed, and ‘…problem…’ possibly - if one tries to understand that:
a. Britain’s border is wide open because Brussels demand it that way.
b. Many, many Briton’s didn’t particularly ask to be ‘saved from idleness’ by financial refugees, a growing number of whom I suspect these days look down upon their hosts from rickety perches as they too begin worshipping rampant consumerism, waste & greed their way.
Could be worse. I remember one place where the gate-man was a very bad dyslexic and couldn’t write your name and company name down in less than 20 minutes and then still got it wrong. Nothing against the guy, he tried his best, but what idiot put him in the gatehouse?

It may be true that britains borders are open because of the eu, because they know that they will not flock in droves to their countries, but the uk, because of our generous benefits system, when youve got foreigners, claiming, who have not paid anything in, yet have returned home, and will continue to claim many benefits, because once allocated, they are hardly checked again.
If you take child benefit, once given, the money is paid directly into a bank account, until that person reaches 16 yrs old, then the parents are asked whether the child is leaving school, or going to college, and could claim an extra 2 yrs of child benefit.
The benefit system needs a radical overhaul, where No body is paid a penny until they have worked for at least 3 yrs, and when entering the country, should have enough money to support themselves and their families, along with medical insurance. I will keep sending this type of letter to our wonderful government gb, until they do something about it.

Not bad, only seven posts to get from how are EE staff in the transport office to …the benefits system needs an overhaul. Fortunatley for me, EE staff have grasped any question i asked, unlike some here !!

if you goverment change you benefit sistem 10 years ago.now here can be much less Eastern Europian.( i am as well from f…ck Europian).because to many British people ready 10-20 years just live and think how to received much more benefits and less work…now number of jobseekers more and more.but some friend work at Samforth brothers factory.can get full time not bad,every week 250-300 if work some overtime.i ask how many British young guys or ledy come in last 2 years???they answer may be 10-15.but near job centrs i can see to many ,many black and white ,as well British.some people don t work (this problem not just in England),and this factory place fill people from another country.benefits sistems requared,but not this,when some people special work less,after received more benefit.

a pot to wotsit in.The company I work with uses East Europeans as stated before they are becoming British but what our politicians don’t realise and I have also
worked with Pakistanis these different nationalities work hard,earn the money but the money doesn’t benefit the UK very much, a great deal of it is sent home.
when Europian come to england-first years sent to home more.but after people spend 70-80 percent here.you as well go to holiday to Spain and… ,and spend money there.

I am sorry to disapoint you, but you are wrong. It is not true, that any Eastern European person can come here, pay nothing, then claim benefit and go home and claim it for next 20 years. In fact, you don’t even need to come here. In Eastern Europe they give British benefits to every second pack of cereal…
(seriously: please, not that ■■■■■■■■ again. I agree with you that British benefit system needs some overhaul (could do the Polish way for example, in Poland after you refused three times to take job available for you in a jobcentre, you loose your jobseekers), but it is impossible to take any benefits for nothing. You have to work here for 24 months to be able to claim even the uncapacity if you are sick. Off course you could claim your child benefit or tax credit, if you work, as this is for working people. You can also claim your tax benefit for your kids who live with your Polish parents in Poland - just as you can claim your child benefit for your kids who live with your British parents in Spain. Because child benefits are paid where parents work, not where the kids live).

I’ve not had any problems… in fact, at Fowler Welch in Spalding there are some seriously good looking Eastern European girls working in their transport office… and they smile! (There’s a few local dogs as well mind you!)
Not had any problems, but i have noticed at the many warehouse/rdc i go eastern europeans still being taken on despite areas of high unemployment.
I guess that’s where the novelty ends, on good looks, otherwise i think they’re just as rude, ignorant & miserable as Brits with the added frustration of the language barrier(as they talk about you amongst themselves thinking you can’t hear). One positive thing is that they might be less likely to grass you up than a Brit-they tend to mind their own…
Being of east European origin is a prerequisite for most jobs in the UK these days is it not…!?
