He’d probably go under that if he let the air out of the trailer.
Is that the driver walking away ,right of pic?
I bet he can’t see that coppers motorbike in his mirrors if he starts reversing what do those stickers say, If you can’t see my mirrors
Has the copper no idea about blindspots

It certainly looks that way. A casual swagger, probably whistling as he goes. PC Plod even appears to be looking at him and thinking “where the [zb] do you think you’re going?”
Pimpdaddy will be here in a minute to tell us that bridges shouldn’t mess with trucks, that the bridge got what it deserved and that he hopes the driver made good his escape.

The picture is a bit misleading he was well wedged under the second bridge which is the one that’s 15.9.

Ahh right i see, i thought he’d done well to get that far and wondered why he stopped lol.
that is not a copper he is a PCSO, but to be fair at least he is warning of the hazard not that you can miss a 16ft trailer, I wonder what height it is 16ft 3in ?

One in the eye for those out there who say in the RDCs :-

A 15’ 9" trailer WILL go under a bridge marked at 15’ 9". If for whatever reason it doesn’t then the bridge is wrongly marked and in no way is the driver culpable for it. I’m surprised an obviously sensible chap like yourself fails to grasp that.
Prehaps that trailer is over 15.9
d’oh!
oh so here we are again let’s blame the driver for getting it wrong shall we when all you can see from this picture is his arse end.
it’s clear from the pic that he’s well and truly under that bridge so lets not take into consideration all the other possibilities of say he’s hit a vehicle or a pedestrian or a cyclist or may be he’s broken down. but because everyone wants to throw daggers in the drivers back because everyone is judge and jury, its not fare to slag him off without him being able to defend himself.
I will await all the comments slagging me off now for defending him.
I was behind him when I took the picture.
The picture doesn’t quite show what happened as the second bridge is lower that’s the one that’s 15.9 he had about an inch clearance under the first one.
Surely it would be prudent not to send DD`s into London?
I know there are areas where they are safe to go, as I have done it myself, but on multi drop it must be a bad move, especially if a road gets closed and you have to take a diversion!
I bet his mate said he gets a high trailer under there all the time, but forgot to say go under at 5 mph as any faster the trailer will bump up and hit the bridge.
