How much for 60 litres? Just need to top the Vectra up
I think the easiest way to steal fuel is like this well planned operation.
Hanson Ketton Cement Works.
roadtransport.com/Articles/2 … Cement.htm
Fuel thieves have hit Hanson’s Ketton Cement works in Rutland in an elaborate operation that is estimated to have seen around 30,000 litres stolen from the site.
The thieves are believed to have circumvented site security to attach a 200m long pipe to the fuel bunker in the vehicle compound, which was siphoned off to a nearby tanker .
Hanson has around 1,00 vehicles on site, a mix of own account and franchisee, and has launched an internal investigation.
Anyone with information regarding the theft should contact Leicestershire police.
The Ketton works was hit several years ago by fuel thieves, which are believed to have stolen keys to the dept and driven a tanker in to steal a similar quantity of fuel.
There is no suggestion that the two incidents are connected.
