Early morning work crew

Anybody else up at this hour working on a fine bank holiday weekend? im currently sat in bissmer road fruit market in cardiff waiting for mushrooms , if youve got them put your foot down :smiley:

Yep. I’m just throwing more coal in furnace to build up steam pressure then off to derbyshire.

Yeah I am. 3 locals into feed mill and a maltings today then load again for Monday. Happy days!!

Woke at 03:30 in deepest darkest Buckinghamshire, just arrived at Newark.
Back to Reading when done and out again Monday evening, ah well don’t look like barbi weather.

Sitting here in Dublin just finishing off a split break before heading up the country one drop then hopefully home :smiley:

I believe bank holidays were abolished for the lower working classes many years ago? Every day is a work (business) day. Enjoy! :wink:

ah , but if you manage to reach retirement before they put it up again you get 7 bank holidays every week , not much in the bank though .
