What is earliest time do driving licence renewal before 45.?I now 43years old.Next year i have plan leave Uk forever.But for some protection can do medical and foto and sent to Dvla.They give me new licence till my 50 or must wait til my 44 or 44.5.Can i do all now and get my licence till my 48.
What will you have as an address on your UK licence?
If taking up permanent residence in another country won’t you need to transfer the license to one for that country, if in the EU?
Or are you moving outside the area for licence exchange/recognition and taking a new driving test?

.By preset low i can drive in my homeland country by Uk licence forever unless this licence valid.But what will be after Brexit that nobody know.If i done medical,photo renewal that my licence will valid more longer time and if i decide back to Uk that will more simple.I passed class 1,class 2 in Uk.Before Brexit i can exchange to another country licence may be in one day without any test.

You apparently only do 9/10 hrs a day so you’ve plenty of spare time to go to the post office and ask them yourself

Sorry no time because i now tramper at Esl.This week not bad but stay for Saturday.Today start 0500 and finish 1645.At post office they not clue nothing about driving licence exchange.
Dvsa send you your medical form out a couple of weeks before your birthday …So I don’t think you can do it early as it defeats the purpose of a medical at 45 .50 .55 etc
I seem to recall that the earliest it can be done is three months before expiry.
Just did my 55th this month ,I just waited till I got the forms through ,but then Harry im only road testing
