E40 Motorway Bruxelles to Aachen Route, any ideas which best place to have secure quiet parking and clean showers for male & female too?
I am thinking only one place - Wally Stop?
26Bis at Industrieweg, Lummen is Secure as is Truckstop VP Park Secure, Liege Airport. Both are about an hour from Aachen.

Once I stayed at premier classe in Liege, utter dump, did not move to the etap hotel just down the road because it started to ■■■■ down. Both these are just off m/way, exit alleur, iirc. huge shopping 5min walk too.
having literally just done this… aka yesterday i would recommend the last junction in belgium… come off there and there is a total garage with a big parking area nice restaurant and a good chippy just up the road. it is only 10km from aachen as well

That would be Wally Stop then at Eynatten, and yes the chippy by the car wash up the road gets my approval. It’s cheap too.
How about going a few miles further down to Eifeltor Autohof in Koln or before there you have the autohof at Duren, both great food and great showers. Though Eifeltor now also boasts a Burger King whjch is a down side.

Yeah Eifeltor Autohof & Duren are good place too but I think there will be overcrowd or full by 10pm, I will be around 11pm so I will stick with Wally Stop

Can’t say for sure how much parking is at Wally stop but am 95% sure its free.
Service station at Barchon has good and clean showers between 7.30 am and 8 pm. It will cost you 2 euro’s.
Wally’s is defenitely free for parking

Neither are between Bruxelles and Aachen though.
The Eifeltor’s own beer is a nice one. I know, I’ve ‘sampled’ it extensively 
(I dunno if they brew it themselves or if it’s a private labelled outside supplier)
Let you all know my plan had change so did stay at Asten Nobis Truckstop - good shower & nice breakfast buffet + coffee for €7.25 include WiFi & enroute to Poland and return back to UK - stay at Venlo Texaco truckstop next to Dutch Customs Douane - completely safe to park there - full of cctv everywhere also plenty of lights
