Anyone all of a sudden just start to get loads of spam in their email?

Every day I get emails from every bank out there asking me to put mu details in for one reason or another. It’s never a real bank cos the website is usually dodgy and half the time firefox wont even let me open them. Also emails from all sorts of people telling me I have just won 9,999,999,999,999,999 USD.

I read on here somewhere someone was moaning about spam and that pipeline card. Is there any truth in that?

Not blaiming pipeline but just remember that name getting a mention with spam. It all started about a year ago I’d say

I use SpamBully and that has a report spam function as well as puting the majority of spam in a spam folder and other stuff. So I report all dodgy bank emails at the press of a button and that goes to the senders email provider.

I use SpamFighter. Works well for me. It creates a folder within your mail program
which all the spam is filtered into. There is an option to block emails not detected as spam (aka blacklist) and option to unblock emails detected
as spam (aka whitelist). Best of all it’s free.

Virgin Media has this free folder option as well - works for 99.99% of spam
