Has anyone ever worked for E.M Rogers of Northampton, and can answer the usual questions? I need to do a couple of months’ work shortly so I’m looking locally to see what’s about, and I understand they still do a fair bit of continental work?
I can see regulary in Italy.But some teuck with NL reg.

I never actually did any work for them but know many who did and I have been involved with them during my last UK job, I know others who needed short term work as you do and they were always treated fairly and paid well for a days honest work. E M Rogers has always been a family concern and in that sense they care about drivers family if you are a good worker.
You must have run with EM Rogers in the old days like we did Harry, always a good crowd then, would hate the think they have changed that much.
My mate went on for them about 4 month ago. He’s got a house in Spain… .so it suits him.

Met a few of their drivers last year. They were on the specialist car (Kentvale) side of things, so I wouldnt imagine theyd be looking at taking on “Outsiders” for that work. (No offence Harry). They seemed happy enough in what they were doing. Dont seem to see any where near as many on the Eu roads as a few years ago. Mind you thats true of many, maybe most, UK firms. Or maybe I`m due another visit to the opticians?
I’ve worked for them a couple of times, on the Kentvale side, the money is average for the work, but always in the bank when it should be, the work is mostly no pressure, although occasionally you may get pushed to max out. The office can sometimes seem a bit cliquey, and some of the drivers seem to think they’re something special, but mostly a good bunch.
