A 20 - year-old German has been seriously injured in the explosion of his e- cigarette. The victim had cuts and burns suffered in the face and lost several teeth by the detonation , the police reported today .
Before the man spares have bought for his e- cigarette in a shop in Cologne , including a new battery. As you drag the newly formed unit that was immediately explodes . The incident occurred on Saturday . Police are investigating .
Cases of exploding e- cigarettes had previously become known already in the US . Similar injuries suffered man in Florida four years ago . At the time, the battery had caused the explosion , which also put the house of the victim on fire .
