Surely these things have a tracker installed? I would have thought it better to tail him discreetly in an unmarked car and pounce when the guy eventually climbed out, thinking he`d got away with his mission? Seems obvious to me that their chosen strategy only ramped up the possibility of a catastrophe. Hope the poor sods in that shunted car were ok.
